The T.L.O.R Help Center has three phases which provides residents with suitable incentives for advancement. Our six to eighteen month program will allow residents to acclimate to the recovery process as well as develop a wide range of recovery principles.
PHASE I: Our first phase begins with a comprehensive assessment by a team of peer support specialist and ministerial staff. Residents will be required to commit to all scheduled classes and assignment verifications as mandated by our program coordinator. Residents will be required to find suitable employment within their first month and pay required service fees. Residents will also be required to participate in our buddy system for the first 90 days of recovery. Residents will be required to attend three AA or NA meetings a week with a sponsor. Residents will be reqired to attend all in house bible studies and Sunday morning devotionals for the first two months. After the residents have completed the first phase they will be evaluated and recommended for the second phase of the program.
PHASE II: Our second phase requires residents to transition into our vocational training program which will allow residents to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Our vocational department will help to provide adequate job placement, which will generally begin within the first month of stay within the facility. Residents in the second phase will also be required to commit to all scheduled classes, assignment verifications and a minimum of 6 in house biblical studies and or services per month as well as attend three outside AA or NA meetings a week with a sponsor. After the resident has completed the second phase of the program, he or she has the option to leave (this will be after their 6th month), be evaluated and referred to aftercare housing within the T.L.O.R. network services.
PHASE III: Our third phase of treatment provides services for the resident who wishes to continue their residency to become senior residents. Senior Residents are required to maintain an appropriate relationship with staff management as well as continue to be actively involved with other members of their resident team. There are specific requirements which must be completed in order for the resident to be eligible for re-entry. In this phase, residents will begin preparing a resume and seeking gainful employment in the community. This allows them to begin to accumulate the necessary funds for rent, utilities, etc. which allows them to re-integrate back into society. For residents that have child support, probation fees, or restitution, the paying of these debts begin in order to minimize their financial impact prior to completing the program. A financial evaluation will be made with each individual resident, and our treatment team will help to develop a suitable budget for the resident to govern his or her very own financial needs. Residents will be also be required to attend at least 4 in house biblical studies and or services and three AA or NA meetings a week with a sponsor.
T.L.O.R Help Center strives to admit only those who are committed to making positive changes in their lives. These individuals come from all walks of life and are referred by many sources, including family members, friends, former graduates, other agencies, the judicial system and probation and parole. However, they all have two things in common, the knowledge that they cannot go on living the way they have in the past and desire to get help. The journey to recovery begins with the FIRST STEP and we are dedicated to help.
